To upload music, press on the "Audio" button on the top side-bar menu. You can choose to separate or delete the audio from the video files, if you just want the visual images, and wish to overlay in more music. When the video files are imported into your main timeline, they should have two components to them: the video image itself, and the sound of the video.Alternatively, drag the files into the iMovie browser, in order to import them more quickly. Find the files you want to edit, and insert them into the project. Press on this button to access your computer's files. This should open up an empty screen, with a large button saying "Import Media", as shown here. And in addition to securing PHI, things like encryption in transit and at rest, strong passwords, training for employees, secure audit logs, and more need to be addressed. A HIPAA-Compliant chatbot requires extra work to secure protected health information (PHI) and related data. Typically chatbots are NOT HIPAA-Compliant unless specified otherwise. Facebook Messenger or other texting platforms are also popular among users but are not HIPAA-compliant. SMS is the leading medium that has the highest use & open rate, as there is no need to download any app. Patients generally like getting support as fast as possible, and chatbots offer instant responses in a text interface and can potentially support them without having them wait on the phone. Some healthcare businesses got up to 20,000 COVID-related questions a day and it saved support staff hours, while some smaller businesses use it for appointment scheduling & pre-visit planning to save time for employees and patients. The second most common question we get is if their patients will use it, and how will they benefit from a chatbot. When using a non-healthcare chatbot, additional steps to secure the chatbot and chats are usually required. The main problem many healthcare providers face when evaluating a chatbot is whether or not it is HIPAA-compliant. We also support 2-factor authentication (2FA) for added security and privacy. SmartBot360’s HIPAA-compliant nature necessitates that it follows all HIPAA requirements – this includes full encryption, availability, logging, strong passwords, employee training, and emergency policies. No extra steps are needed to secure them. Our web-based & SMS chatbots are natively HIPAA-compliant and can also be used for live chat. When using SmartBot360, it can be used to automatically detect and send a HIPAA-compliant chat through a patient’s native SMS/chat platform that they can follow when they need to provide protected health information. We have developed ways to overcome the vulnerabilities of most common media like SMS, Facebook Messages, and more. SmartBot360 is a healthcare-focused chatbot and we’ve worked with hospitals, networks, small offices, and more for years to achieve the most frictionless HIPAA-compliant chat & chatbot on the market. SmartBot360™ chats are HIPAA-compliant, by properly handling sensitive health & medical data, including protected health information (PHI). It was probably inevitable that internet culture weaponized in his favor would originate from - where else? - the far right. Enter: popular memes that turn him into his own polar opposite, e.g., an aggressive, red-eyed, one-man army/supergenius. Biden has committed to staying out of the limelight and getting work done mostly behind the scenes, allowing for the rejuvenation of his public image. Still, during the Biden administration, the relatively innocuous public image that boosted his relatability with voters seems to have worked in his favor. Like Biden himself, it’s everything Trump and his memes are not. Biden’s longest-running pop culture image, that of an older gent enjoying a vanilla cone, barely offers a counter to the hyper-aggressive “America, fuck yeah!” vibes of, for example, the average Trump meme, or Trump’s own digital trading cards. The folksy, homespun Biden who calls out “malarkey” and claims to have told Vladimir Putin he has no soul isn’t a persona that easily lends itself to a political meme culture that now, more than ever, relies on layers of irony. Not even Saturday Night Live could create a parody of Biden that didn’t sink under the weight of Biden’s own perceived blandness. His detractors, on the other hand, easily beat them to it by depicting him as “ Creepy Uncle Joe.” Although “ Sexy Joe Biden” is a whole thing, it never truly reemerged as a meme in the post-Obama era. If Obama-era Biden resided somewhere between a neighborly Dad and a dril tweet, during his election campaign, Biden’s public persona was so staid and buttoned-up it seemed to do nothing to inspire his supporters to memeify him. The Onion famously popularized a parodied, souped-up version of Biden colloquially known as “Diamond Joe” - an everyman in a ponytail who liked Dude Things like motorcycles, tinkering with his Trans Am, and cooling his heels in Mexico for a while. While serving as vice president during the Obama administration, the internet embraced him as a fun-loving, relatable sidekick. It works whether you read it ironically or not.īy contrast, Joe Biden’s image in internet culture has long been malleable. That’s because so much of their ideology and methodology involves coded language, dog whistles, and a grandiose aesthetic that melds easily with the kind of humor you can never be sure is real. This kind of imagery has always served far-right agitators well, across levels of online fluency. Since the 2015–16 “Deplorables” era of Trump memeing, images produced by his supporters have evoked the former president as a testosterone-fueled Rambo-style warrior, boldly riding tanks or giant bald eagles toward a hyperbolic victory over the libs, flags waving. Joe Biden is a famously innocuous public figure. There’s a lot to unpack in a meme about an old dude with Godzilla eyes, so let’s sally forth. Is there anything we can do about that? Should we even try? The irony that attaches to memes of this nature is often used, especially by the far right, to obscure and distort their underlying point - and can raise confusion about whose aims the memes are ultimately serving. But like so much of the internet these days, the wholesome appeal masks a much more shadowy history. On the surface, this may all just look like good, clean superhero fun. #DarkBrandon /uEmBuxGCVR- _ August 8, 2022 The Deep State told Biden he could not withstand The Storm.īiden replied, I am the Storm. And at the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner on April 29, Biden briefly donned sunglasses and referenced the persona, to cheers from the audience. Recently, visitors to Biden’s newly unveiled 2024 campaign website discovered the site’s 404 (page not found) landing page serving a “Dark Brandon” Easter egg and pointing people towards a special “Dark” campaign tee emblazoned with the Brandon image. In the year or so since Democrats - including numerous politicians and White House staff members - started using it, the “Brandon” meme, which began as an ironic take on an already-ironic meme from the right, has become a triumphant anthem for the Biden campaign. Who gets to decide what a meme means? Can a meme born in darkness - say, for instance, the racist corners of 4chan - ever come to have lighter meanings? Do we have a responsibility to purge our cultural vocabulary of memes with spurious origins, or does that just lead to the elimination of, well, all internet culture?īut the Dark Brandon meme’s popularity among Biden supporters was so swift and decisive that it has effectively become a positive affirmation, not only of Biden himself, but of the internet’s ability to reclaim and salvage what once was lost. At first, the rise of “Dark Brandon,” President Biden’s cooler, laser-eyed internet alter ego, presented us with a number of complicated questions about memes and their origins. A very small number of mail-in ballots will most likely arrive after Election Day. Will redistricting affect the congressional elections in this state? Go back to the removing of the locking screw as you normally would. You're using the driver like a nail set to drive that screw home. Now, hold the drill by the chuck, over the work bench, but above it, so you're ONLY supporting the drill with your hand, and only by the chuck, Then, a couple of good sharp hammer thwacks on top of the driver. Second step, take your torx socket that you're using to remove the locking screw, put it in the screw, and close the existing chuck until it's supporting but NOT CLAMPING the socket. This ensures it's not "locked" against the locking screw. NOT the big ugga dugga.įirst step for a reversable drill with the locking screw inside, put the allen key in the in the dill chuck and TIGHTEN it with a good hammer thwack, or a couple of burps on the impact gun. That is a quick speedy, not huge torque impact gun. I've evolved that into using a 3/8 impact gun, clamping a 3/8 square drive allen key in the chuck. The "original" way since threaded chucks were a thing, is clamping a3/8 allen key in the chuck, and beating the (tar) out of it with a hammer to get it to turn (Seriously, I wasn't joking, it takes 4000 Youtube videos to build up that kind of confidence). It's not really every day, but I've worn out my share of drill chucks. Oil won't get under it until AFTER you find a way to loosen it. The inside screw, clean metal to clean metal, has formed a seal. About 4000 Youtube videos might build your confidence a bit.ĭon't go spraying oil. Indeed, the "inside" screw is going to be a left hand thread, and the chuck it's self is going to be a right hand thread. I planned on making a tool post mounted drill with it for radial drilling on the lathe but that will probably never happen.įrom the factory those things are set up right tight, and for obvious reason. I still have my old Dewalt nicad, I bought an adapter for it to use MW M18 batteries but I still don't use it. If you decide to get a new one, who knows maybe in the future you may come across a good chuck or use that drill for parts or a project. I hate to to get rid of working tools/stuff in this throw away world we live in now but if it's more cost effective then I'll go with it. If it does then I hate to say it but a new one is probably the better option especially if that drill is kind of old. A Rohm was $50 pre-pandemic so I assume it may cost more now. Yup, holidays are coming up, good sales around Thanksgiving as you know. Might not get good good heat transfer but might be able to heat it up just enough. if you have something like 40W or higher, a 15W iron for PCB work might not be hot enough. You could try reaching in there with a soldering iron to try heating it up. They're usually 1/2"-20 but some newer drills are 9/16" now, my MW was 9/16" also.Ĭlick to expand.Yeah those screws are on/can get pretty tight. Oh BTW, check the spindle thread before ordering the chuck. Was a great upgrade & hasn't gave me a problem yet but if I had to do it over I would just get a Rohm. I cheaped out & just went with a new MW chuck (no idea who makes it). The MW I have was known to have chuck problems & unfortunately mine did also. Doesn't mean a Jacobs won't be decent though. But ever since Jacobs manufacturing was moved overseas I no longer recommend their stuff anymore. My old Dewalt XRP nicad came with a Jacobs on it, never had a problem with it unlike my Milwaukee. There was another brand that was a bit cheaper than Rohm that had a red band on the sleeve, I forget the brand but now there are lots of generic no name brands selling chucks that look similar. If not there are cheaper options like non-ratcheting lock. Might as well get the ratcheting lock type if you plan to keep/use the drill for a while. Rohm is one of the better choices if you want a good quality & reliable replacement chuck. You can put blue thread lock on the center screw when reassembling but don't put thread lock on the chuck/spindle threads. The chuck itself threaded on the spindle is normal RH. They sell replacement screws that are easy to find on ebay or amazon. Yes, the center retaining screw is usually LH thread. I love how easy it is to grab one of these from the freezer, and place once more in a warm oven for 5 minutes – bringing them pretty much back to newly baked awesomeness. Savoury muffins are healthy, tasty, filling, very forgiving when you have to fudge the quantities, inexpensive, and best of all, freezer friendly. They can also be a just meal of their own. Aside from the wide variety of possibilities when it comes to flavour, they are a terrific option any time of year – another alternative to sandwiches for kids heading back to school, or a yummy accompaniment to a BBQ dinner or a bowl of soup (with a bit of real butter on the side too). Having more of a savoury than a sweet tooth, I’ve long enjoyed a good savoury muffin. Spoon or scoop the mixture into the muffin tins, sprinkle on the rest of the cheese, and bake for about 18 minutes, until the tops are golden and a toothpick inserted into the centre of a muffin comes out clean. In a jug, whisk the eggs, butter and buttermilk, stir them into the flour mixture with a spatula until just combined, then fold in the cooled bacon, onion, chives, if using, and two-thirds of the cheese until just evenly distributed. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and salt.In the same fat, sauté the onion until just softened, about five minutes, then set aside to cool. Lift the bacon from the pan with a slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper. Warm the oil over a medium heat and fry the bacon in it until just crisp.Heat the oven to 200C/400F/gas mark 6 and line a muffin tin with 12 paper cases.1 tbsp finely chopped chives (optional, I like chives so put in 3 tablespoons).200ml buttermilk (replace with yoghurt, sour cream or ordinary milk if need be).250g wholemeal self-raising flour (I used plain white flour).1 red onion, finely diced (I used a regular brown one).100g streaky bacon, cut into 1cm pieces. The recipe below produces 12 and costs less than $6 to make. These cheesy, bacony, and very pretty muffins are fluffy and so eatable. What follows is another delightful recipe from Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, the third and final in this series for summer hospitality and easy back to school non-sandwich lunches. Although I hear that some people don’t like bacon, to me, it’s a food group all of its own, along with Diet Coke and good coffee. (it was subsequently certified Platinum). In addition to its status as a creative landmark, 2112 was also Rush’s commercial breakthrough, becoming the band’s first album to reach the Billboard LP chart and the first Rush album to achieve Gold sales status in the U.S. Resisting record-company pressure to focus on shorter, more radio-friendly songs, the band stuck to its guns and constructed the album’s seminal seven-part, 20-minute title piece, a conceptual suite set in a dystopian future. Although it was the band’s fourth album, it’s generally considered to be the one on which the band’s epic sound and ambitious conceptual approach blossomed. The epic 2112 album which guitarist Alex Lifeson described as “the first record where we sounded like Rush,” is widely regarded as a crucial landmark in Rush’s body of work. The set’s rare recordings include “Solar Federation,” spotlighting the isolated Neil Peart vocals that close the song “2112” in “Grand Finale,” two outtakes from the 1976 Massey Hall concerts including “Something For Nothing” and a nearly complete 15+ minute performance of “2112,” as well as a recently-rediscovered live version of the album track “The Twilight Zone,” which has only been performed twice in the band’s long history. Possibly due to their tenacity, Captain Benjamin Sisko suggested that the Romulan forces, including their Birds-of-Prey, be stationed at the front of the Alliance's fleet.Commemorate 40 years since the release of the Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan film with this Star Trek Shop exclusive Funko Pop! bundle. Vessels of this class saw action in the Dominion War of the 2370s. The Bird-of-Prey was able to strike its enemies at will, practically undetected and unchallenged. The ship’s cloaking device consumed an enormous amount of power. The Romulan Bird-of-Prey was designed with a sole primary hull configuration with two attached nacelles. Typically during an incursion, one Bird-of-Prey would bring a starship out of warp with a plasma torpedo, to allow the ships in its battle group to attack the target as a group. The Romulans later used larger numbers to patrol their border with the Federation in force. The Romulan vessel then re-cloaked.įirst encountering the new version of this vessel in 2266, a single ship of this type crossed the Romulan Neutral Zone and destroyed several border outposts. To prove the Romulans' point, the Bird-of-Prey fired two warning shots at the Starfleet vessel, and Enterprise's commanding officer ordered the activation of quantum beacons, in order to avoid hitting any of the cloaked mines. The Romulan commander hailed (on audio only) and ordered the Enterprise crew to leave or be destroyed, though Enterprise's translator failed to lock onto the Romulan language. A vessel of this class decloaked and approached Enterprise. The Romulan birds-of-prey were first encountered by Starfleet in 2152, when the Enterprise NX-01 inadvertently encroached upon a Romulan-claimed star system, which was protected by a field of cloaked mines. Dagger-like pointed nacelles sat at their ends. The pylons swept up- and forward aggressively. Whereas a section on the bottom of the ship was recessed one deck, the dorsal hull contained a raised section with an additional two decks and the main bridge on top. The twin disruptor emitter was mounted on the bow of the ship, below the two main decks of the saucer. The hull was segmented and included a shield-generating deflector grid. Above them, the stabilizer fin was affixed to the rearmost part of the ship. The ship was 130 meters long, and composed of a single saucer-shaped hull with a pair of up-swept warp nacelles mounted on either side.Īrmed with disruptor cannons and beam arrays, with a teardrop-shaped hull, a pair of green-glowing impulse engine exhausts were mounted at the aft of the saucer. They were equipped with disruptor banks, as well as advanced cloaking technology. Used by the Romulan Star Empire in the 22nd and 23rd centuries, they are green in color, and were were designed to appear as birds-of-prey. Whilst the dosage could be higher, it's easy enough to take an extra pill if that better suits your size and needs. The reality is that for the most part they're very similar, and what it comes down to is, do they have a quality capsule, what's the price point and are they high enough dosed. There are quite a few different omega oil supplements on the market, and there's a whole host of ones that could've made this slot. Then there's the Ginger and Galangal extract which has been shown to increase joint mobility, reduce pain relief reliance and reduce joint swelling. 500mg of Curcumin has been shown to reduce pain in chronic arthritis cases and improve osteoarthritis symptoms as well as recovering from injury. Next we have glucosamine HCL is the higher concentration form of glucosamine sulphate, which is a collagen in a lot of the other top supplements, and even prescribed in some countries. It works in a similar way to the body as omega oils, but adds additional benefits. The interesting include resveratrol, which has been shown to improve overall joint health, and brain health. Many of us already know about why omega oils are effective, and vitamin d and k2 deficiencies can cause joint pain. All of these dosages are in the effective range and every single one is listed on the arthritis foundation's researched supplements list. This is quite a long list, but FlexAgain contains 1100mg of omega 3 (from algae), 500mg curcumin extract, 250mg of Eurovita Extract 77 (shown to be as effective as 3000mg ginger) 400mg glucosamine HCL, 250mg chondroitin, 100mg bromelain, 100mg Boswellic acid, 100mg resveratrol as well as Vit D and Vit K2. We also try to avoid proprietary blends as we cannot be sure if the doses of each ingredient are high enough to be effective. We won't knock points off for overhyped marketing, although it does typically reduce customer satisfaction. Joint supplements can help reduce joint pain, and promote long term joint health, but they're unlikely to completely remove the aches and pains of getting older. We will outline the pros and cons of each supplement and we also compare the supplements against what they claim to do, so you just get legitimate information, not marketing hype. This means that you can be sure you're getting a quality product with proven health benefits. In short we judge the products on our best joint supplements list on the following criteria: We listen to customers, run surveys and do our very best to make sure all our information is as accurate as it can be. When recommending joint supplements we make sure that we've tried and tested them ourselves, but we also study the ingredients carefully against all the studies that are currently available.
